First Neighborhood Independence Day Parade!!

What a FUN morning in Green Mountain Estates! Neighbors of all ages got together got together to celebrate our Vets and Independence Day. First we decorated bikes with stickers, streamers, and pinwheels. We made our way to the parade start at the end of Alaska, with kazoos and other *very loud* noisemakers alerting everyone in earshot that THE PARADE WAS ON! We made our way along the short but sweet parade route with kids, vets, and dressed up dogs all having a great time. The popsicles at the end (red, white and blue of course) were a welcome treat for the hot morning. One of the things I love the most about this neighborhood is the strong community on the hill. It was great to reconnect with old friends and make some new ones. Looking forward to making this an annual event!
