Lakewood residents are invited to public open houses to contribute to the future of the community’s arts, parks and recreation Imagine Lakewood!, the City of Lakewood’s Community Resources Department’s master planning effort. The master plan will determine the priorities of the department’s efforts for the next five years. Lakewood residents are invited to attend a public open house to view results of the recently completed resident survey and share their thoughts, ideas and priorities. Four open houses are offered as follows:
2-4 p.m., Tuesday, June 6, Clements Community Center, 1580 Yarrow Street.
6-8 p.m., Tuesday, June 6, Bear Valley Church, 10001 West Jewell Avenue.
2-4 p.m., Thursday, June 8, Lakewood Link Recreation Center, 1295 South Reed Street.
6-8 p.m., Thursday, June 8, Green Mountain Recreation Center, 13198 West Green Mountain Drive.
Over 2,200 residents took the Imagine Lakewood! survey which closed in March 2017. The results revealed residents’ perspectives of the current state of Lakewood’s arts, parks and recreation facilities and programs and priorities for the future.
